Bridget Jones Baby trailer revealed

The first trailer for Bridget Jones Baby has been revealed.

Fans will see the return of Renee Zellweger’s hapless singleton in the hugely anticipated third movie, with the first full length trailer revealing a number of shock twists.

In the first look, Bridget is seen walking down the aisle only for the scene to cut to a recreation of the infamous All By Myself singalong from the first movie.

The trailer opens to the strains of the wedding march, before Renee’s leading lady is revealed in an elegant gown and veil.

With mum Pamela (Gemma Jones), best mates Jude (Shirley Henderson), Shazza (Sally Phillips) and Tom (James Callis) packing the pews, and her father Colin (Jim Broadbent) by her side, a beaming Bridget heads down the aisle.

But the magical moment is ruined when Bridget’s voiceover explains: ‘So there I was surrounded by my friends and all ready for my happy ever after. At least that’s how I pictured it, the reality was much more single.’

The trailer cuts to Bridget alone in her flat with a single cupcake in her hand and Celine Dion’s All By Myself wailing in the background.

Bridget Jones’ Baby is out in UK cinemas on 16th September 2016
