One Direction star Harry Styles was mobbed by fans in Glasgow last night after hitting the town for a date with a mystery blonde.
Harry, 18, flew up to Scotland to meet up with an old friend, Ellis Calcutt, who is now a student in Glasgow.
Harry and Ellis are childhood friends, having grown up together in Cheshire.
Heartthrob Harry took Ellis out for dinner to Pizza Hut in Argyle Street, where news of the teen stars attendance spread like wild fire.
Once Harry noticed he had been spotted, he tweeted from the restaurant: “In a crust he trust.”
Harry then jumped in a taxi with Ellis and headed to the city’s Cineworld cinema, where they later left through a side door before heading back to her student flat for a party, according to fans posting on social media websites.
Twitter users claimed Harry later rushed back to his hotel as dozens of fans tried to get into the party.
Ellis, who went to school with the One Direction star, insisted they were just good friends in April last year after they were spotted spending time together.
In Glasgow last night, Pizza Hut waitress Jenny Lawrence said: “He had a BBQ Americano, which is one of the most popular pizzas.
“We are just so happy that he decided to pop in.”
“He and Ellis went to the cinema to see Movie 43,” a source told The Daily Record.
“As expected, word had spread and there was a crowd waiting by the time he left.
“There was a great buzz about the place and he seemed in good spirits.
“The staff helped try to smuggle him out the side entrance.
“He left with Ellis and the two of them got into a silver Mercedes and sped off.”
