Amelia Lily Confirms Track With Kelly Rowland

There were rumours that Amelia Lily and her X Factor mentor Kelly Rowland were not the best of friends, but the singer has proven them wrong as she revealed that they have recorded a duet together.

The 17 year-old would not confirm if the track was a cover of ‘River Deep, Mountain High’ which she performed with Kelly on the X Factor final but did say that she was still in touch with the American star.

The singer told This Morning: “Me and Kelly actually recorded in the studio not so long ago.

“I’ve got a lovely voicemail off Kelly which she left me just before Christmas. She said, ‘Hello my little Lily’.” She added.

Amelia and her mentor gave a show-stopping performance of the Motown classic at the Wembley final in December, but it was not enough to secure a victory for Kelly’s act and the singer eventually came third in the competition.
