Carrie Bradshaw apartment sells for $9.85 million

The home where Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw lived has been sold for $9.85 million (£6.1 million).

The New York building, located on 64 Perry Street, was the home of writer Bradshaw for a few seasons on the HBO series.

According to city records, the five-bedroom townhouse was listed for $9.65 million in early March with Sotheby’s brokers Joshua Wesoky and Steve Dawson, reports The New York Observer.

The townhouse made its mark in pop culture before Sex and the City, when it was featured inWoody Allen’s 1990 romantic fantasy Alice.

It was also the home of Project Runway guru Tim Gunn, who lived in an upstairs apartment for 16 years.

Sex and the City will soon resurface on the small screen, but will this time follow a high school-aged Bradshaw on CW’s The Carrie Diaries.
