Katona’s mum Sue, who she has a notoriously fiery relationship with, is also said to be going into the famous house with her daughter, in a bid to boost ratings for the show, which has moved to Channel 5 after 10 years on Channel 4.
Also tipped for this year’s show is American Pie actress Tara Reid, who would be sure to bring some glamour to the house.
And even troubled former Two and a Half Men actor Charlie Sheen has been linked to this year’s BB.
Bosses at Channel 5 reportedly pulled out all the stops in a bid to secure the high-profile star, with rumours of a £6 million deal ciculating.
However one celebrity who definitely doesn’t look set to enter the house, despite rumours, is Katie Price.
The former glamour model was said to be in the running to replace another star who dropped out of the show last minute, but Price has angrily denied the claims on her official Twitter page.
“I PROMISE everyone I AM NOT doing big brother I’m away with my family and I’m signed to Sky Living so impossible,” Katie wrote on the social networking page.
“People should know I don’t lie so I’m telling you again I’m not doing big brother so drop it [sic].”
Celebrity Big Brother kicks off TONIGHT at 9pm on Channel 5.
