Channing Tatum reportedly hates Magic Mike co-star Alex Pettyfer
Channing Tatum reportedly did not get along with his Magic Mike co-star Alex Pettyfer.
According to Us Weekly, while the actors’ characters were close on-screen, the friendship stopped the minute the cameras stopped rolling.
A source told the publication that the men had “massive fights” during production, saying: “He hates Alex. Channing thought Alex was a diva on set.”
Another insider confirmed the claim, adding: “Alex was a jerk to everyone during filming for no reason. He thinks he’s the star of the movie, not Channing or Matthew McConaughey.”
Tatum recently described Magic Mike’s nude scenes as “easy”, insisting that the hard work is in the preparation for such a role.
Co-star Joe Manganiello has praised Tatum, saying that the film would not have been as fun to shoot were it not for Tatum and Matthew McConaughey.
Magic Mike is released in UK cinemas tomorrow (July 11)
