Cheryl tells Simon to buzz off

Cheryl Cole has dealt Simon Cowell a fresh blow — by refusing to be a judge on Britain’s Got Talent.

The Girls Aloud babe, 28 — sporting a new beehive hairdo as she went to a London party — was revealed by pals to have scoffed at the offer.

The snub by the former X Factor judge comes after the TV mogul axed the humiliated Geordie singer from that hit show’s American version.

One chum who confirmed she still has a bee in her bonnet said: “There’s no way she will do Britain’s Got Talent. She thinks it’s all a massive joke.”

Cowell battled in vain to get her to return to X Factor in the UK after wrecking her hopes of becoming a huge telly star in the States.

Tonight he explains in an interview on Piers Morgan’s US chat show that she looked too “bewildered” for audiences in America.

Cowell has been desperate to patch things up with Cheryl, who since her abject return from the States has been staying with her Girls Aloud pop bandmate Kimberley Walsh.

He is terrified the BBC is poised to snap her up for its planned X Factor rival The Voice — due to air next year.

But Cheryl’s friend told how he was clutching at straws. The pal said: “Why on earth would she do that show when she turned down the X Factor?”

The pop babe was revealed to be still not even speaking to Cowell. Their only communication since her nightmare in the US has been a SINGLE tense mobile phone text.
