Chris Brown to perform at BET Awards

Chris Brown has been confirmed to perform at the BET Awards later this month.

The ceremony, which celebrates its 15th anniversary live from the Nokia Theatre, will also feature performances from Kendrick Lamar.

Brown and Nicki Minaj lead this year’s BET Awards nominations, with six nods each.

Meanwhile, Beyoncé and Lil Wayne secured four nominations each, and ‘Stay with Me’ singer Sam Smith earned two.

Anthony Anderson, Tracee Ellis Ross, Michael B Jordan and Zendaya will present the awards on June 28.

Azealia Banks recently criticised Minaj’s BET Awards nomination in the Best Female Hip Hop Artist category – which she has won for the last five consecutive years.

The BET Awards will be live from the Nokia Theatre on Sunday, June 28, and will air in the UK on Tuesday, June 30 on BET.
