Drake close to breaking chart record

That Drake reign just won’t let up. The Canadian rapper has won a seriously impressive 14th  week at No.1 in the UK with ‘One Dance’.

It means he’s edging ever closer to a chart record held by Bryan Adams’ 1991 hit ‘Everything I Do (I Do It For You)’, which logged 16 consecutive weeks at the top.

However, the longest non-consecutive run is held by Frankie Laine’s ‘I Believe’ at 18 weeks.

But Drake has tough competition coming up behind him. Chainsmokers leap from seven to two on this week’s chart with their new single ‘Don’t Let Me Down’.
