Emerdale: Adam’s fiery revenge on Cain Dingle

In Emmerdale, Adam Barton commits arson in a shocking act of revenge against Cain Dingle.

Adam (Adam Thomas) grows increasingly resentful of Cain in the coming days, and is particularly disgusted when his family members start thanking the bad boy for saving Holly’s life after she suffered a heroin overdose.

When Adam confronts Cain (Jeff Hordley) at the garage later this month, a heated argument follows and Adam ends up throwing a petrol canister at the mechanic’s injured leg, causing petrol to leak everywhere.

Cain is in agony and feels powerless when Adam knocks more flammable liquid onto the floor. In a moment of madness, Adam picks up the blowtorch and declares that it’s time for Cain to beg for forgiveness.

Adam then totally loses control as he throws down the blowtorch, igniting a fire. He hesitates for a split second, before leaving Cain locked inside the garage as the flames spread…
