Emmerdale Spoiler: Aaron to take blame for arson attack

Aaron Livesy makes a shocking decision as he resolves to take the blame for his best friend Adam Barton’s arson attack.

When the police begin to suspect that the garage was torched deliberately as an insurance job, Cain is forced to tell Debbie and Cameron the truth about what happened.

A seething Debbie heads straight round to see Adam (Adam Thomas), warning that she will reveal his guilt if the police ask her directly. Adam then wonders whether it’s best to turn himself in, but Aaron (Danny Miller) tries to talk him out of it – adamant that he needs to be around to look after his family following John’s death.

Adam initially agrees, but panics when the police arrive. Taking matters into his own hands, Aaron heads out to greet the officers, telling them that he was the one who torched the garageā€¦

News of Aaron’s false confession stuns Adam, but the troubled mechanic is calm and determined throughout – insisting that he has a plan.

Aaron’s decision comes in his final week on the soap, which reaches a dramatic climax when he’s due in court. Does Aaron face a future behind bars, or will he go on the run?
