‘Gears of War 3’ Christmas multiplayer events revealed
Gears of War 3 will receive a series of Christmas-themed multiplayer events.
Epic Games has announced ‘The Twelve Days of Gearsmas’, which will see new Versus playlists starting tomorrow (December 14) from 10am GMT / 5am EST.
Torque Bow Tag, Hardcore Weekend, Thanksgibbing and One Shot One Kill are among the event types that will be available in the days running up to Christmas.
Three ribbons for the event will be spaced out across the 12 days, with more surprises teased over the period. It was added that all playlists are subject to change.
Gears of War 3 will see new campaign content, ‘RAAM’s Shadow’, out today for 1200 Microsoft Points (£10.20 / $15).

- Day 4-6- Hardcore Weekend – No rifles, gnasher/pistol only, map pickups limited to boomshot, digger, torque bow, sniper rifle. There will be NO infinite ammo mutator this time.

- Day 11- Thanksgibbing
- Day 12 One Shot One Kill
