Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux share their first

public kiss

They may have been dating for nine months, but Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have largely preferred to keep their romance private.

But today, they shared a very public kiss as Jennifer received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Justin was among the seated guests watching the actress receive the accolade before making an acceptance speech.

The actor then smiled as Jennifer, who co-stars with him in their new film Wanderlust, moved in for a kiss.

He was seated alongside Jennifer’s actor father John Aniston, 78, who later proudly posed for a photograph with his famous daughter – and got a kiss too.

The 43-year-old star looked stunning in a pretty blue, white and red patterned Tom Ford midi dress and strappy sandals as she knelt down by her star on Hollywood Boulevard.

Jennifer stars alongside Justin in the new comedy film Wanderlust, but the pair did not pose together at the recent Hollywood premiere of the movie.

Jennifer was also joined by Wanderlust co-stars Malin Akerman and Kathryn Hain for a photograph after the ceremony.

Sandler made a speech about Jennifer’s career. He said: ‘She prayed for three things,’ he told the assembled crowd.

‘To have everyone in the entire world be fascinated with her haircut; to one day star in a movie about an evil leprechaun who kills people, and most importantly, receive a star on the prestigious Hollywood Walk of Fame. Well today, Jennifer, the trifecta is here.’

The amused star thanked the comic by embracing him with a kiss following his speech.

She also took the podium to tell the crowd that she was ‘extremely flattered, humbled, nervous and excited’ to be honoured.

‘It feels very surreal to be honest,’ she said. ‘I was born here and it’s sort of something you went and saw as a kid and got excited about just walking and seeing the names.

‘To imagine that you’re going to be there is really special. It’s fun.’

She also took time to thank her waiting fans, signing autographs for them by the pavement star, which is located in front of the W Hotel on Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street.

Earlier this week, the actress told Good Morning America that she thought Justin is  ‘really cute and  a great actor.’

She even joked about whether the actor was romantic, telling interviewer Lara Spencer: ‘He’s just the most cold, icy, fishy kind of a guy. ‘I’m trying to warm him up but you know…

Wanderlust sees Jennifer play one half of a New York couple who find themselves living in a hippie commune after being made unemployed.

While there, she meets hippies Seth (Justin) and Eva (Malin Akerman).

Jennifer recently told Good Morning America that the romance between she and Justin did not begin while making the film.

‘Nothing happened on that movie, it’s the easy rumour,’ she said. ‘Nothing happened, we were just friends. I have known Justin a long time.’

Jennifer also spoke out about her thoughts on whether a Friends movie would work, but fans will be disappointed to learn that she quashed the idea.

The actress told The Hollywood Reporter: ‘I can’t imagine how you would do it, unless you did it years from now.’

She added: ‘I can’t imagine what that would be. It’s not normal. Friends is in your living room; Friends is not in a movie theater. It doesn’t make sense to me. I think it would be going against its authentic self.’
