Jessie J cancels tour due to sudden illness

Jessie J has cancelled the remainder of her Australian tour due to “sudden illness”.

The singer will no longer play scheduled shows in Melbourne (March 17), Adelaide (March 18) and Perth (March 20).

“Due to sudden illness I have unfortunately been medically advised to cancel my three remaining shows in Australia, so I can give myself time to rest and get better,” Jessie J said in a statement.

“I am extremely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause my fans in Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide. If I could magic myself better and be there I would. I can’t wait to perform for you all in the future. Thank you for your support.”

Jessie J’s next live show is set to take place at New York’s Webster Hall on April 29.

The singer is also set to play a number of UK festivals this summer including Wireless and T in the Park.
