Jessie J reportedly angers The Voice UK producers

Jessie J has reportedly upset The Voice UK producers after some of the comments she made on The Graham Norton Show.

The singer/the voice judge allegedly described elements of the show as “lame” and admitted that she did not watch the series after it was recorded, but the comments were not broadcast on the chatshow.

“Many of the show’s most senior staff are angry that Jessie criticised the show’s production values so publicly,” a show insider told The Mirror.

“She is paid a huge amount of money to be a big part of the show, and should be one of the show’s most vocal supporters.

“It has had a huge impact on what many of the show’s staff think about her. Obviously the dip in viewers means producers need to speak frankly with all members of the team, but with Jessie there’s not really any point. You can’t tell her anything.”

Jessie J reportedly criticised the decision for her to wear the same outfit during all of the auditions for editing purposes, saying: “It was lame and not thought through.”

The source added: “With Jessie in particular, the staff are becoming frustrated that she is so unapproachable.

“She turns up with a legion of minders, assistants and hangers-on and is sometimes late too. It’s like an audience with the Queen – although Her Majesty’s timekeeping is probably better.”

Fellow coach will.i.am was also said to have angered producers by live tweeting during Saturday’s show.

The Voice UK coaches have reportedly been told to “toughen up” in future episodes in order to boost ratings.
