John Travolta accused of second sexual harassment

After vehemently denying the first claim, John Travolta is reportedly being sued by a second male masseur for alleged sexual harassment.

The Saturday Night Fever actor had a lawsuit filed against him on Friday (May 4) which claims he made inappropriate advances towards a masseuse during a session at a resort in the Los Angeles area – a claim John has described as ‘baseless.’

Travolta is now facing a second lawsuit after another masseuse filed similar claims Tuesday (May 8), according to RadarOnline, alleging similar behaviour at a resort in Atlanta, Georgia.

Both plaintiffs are represented by Pasadena, California attorney Okorie Okorocha and have remained anonymous, seeking $2 million (£1.2 million) in damages each.

Travolta’s lawyer Marty Singer said in a statement: “This second ‘anonymous’ claim is just as absurd and ridiculous as the first one.

“The attorney who filed the lawsuit on behalf of his second anonymous client – who does not want to disclose his name although he is required to do so – was notified that his first client’s claims were totally false and fabricated, since our client was not in LA when anonymous ‘Doe #1′ claims he interacted with John Travolta.”

Okorocha said in his own statement: “The reason my clients are wishing to remain anonymous is because the public passes judgment on sexual harassment accusers and people who file lawsuits in general.”

The alleged first incident took place at the Beverly Hills Hotel in January, and the accusers’ attorney claims to have evidence to support the allegations.

Singer said yesterday that he intends to have the first claimant’s allegations disproved in court and may then launch a counter-suit for malicious prosecution.
