Lady GaGa confirms new album

Lady GaGa has confirmed that she has nearly finished recording her new album.

The singer revealed that she will announce the details of her third studio record this September after playing the new collection to her label earlier this week.

“Exciting news little monsters! I’ve played my new record for my label and will be announcing my new Album Title in September,” GaGa tweeted.

The star’s co-manager Vincent Herbert recently described the new material as “insane” and confirmed that GaGa was writing and recording while on her ‘Born This Way Ball’ world tour.

The as-yet-untitled third studio album from GaGa will serve as the follow-up to 2011’s Born This Way, which has sold over 8 million copies worldwide.

Lady GaGa will take her ‘Born This Way Ball’ to the UK on September 8, playing three dates in total. The star has yet to announce the North American leg of the world tour.
