‘Louis Walsh accused of indecent assault on man in toilet’

Everybody’s least favourite X Factor judge Louis Walsh is being investigated by police over allegations that he indecently assaulted a man in a nightclub.

The alleged victim, a 24-year-old single dad, claims that Louis fondled his privates in the toilet of a bar in Dublin.

But Louis said last night: “The allegations made against me are wholly false and with no foundation.

“I will happily co-operate fully with the police and am 100% confident after a full investigation I will be fully exonerated.”

His spokeswoman chimed in: “He vigorously denies all of the allegations. If contacted by the police he will willingly co-operate with any investigation.

“Louis categorically denies any wrongdoing and will fight to clear his name.”

It’s claimed that Louis was chatting to the man after a Westlife gig early in the morning on April 10. After having a drink at the Hotel’s Global Bar and later in its Krystle nightclub, the man alleged that they both visited the club’s toilet.

It was there that the man claims that the alleged assault took place.

The cops have now taken CCTV footage from the hotel, with a serious sounding policeman stating that the investigation is “ongoing” although Louis has so far not been interviewed.
