Mischa B forgives Tulisa for bully comments
She missed out on a place in the X Factor final following claims she had been bullying other contestants.
But Misha B has come forward today to insist she forgives judge Tulisa Contostavlos for making the accusations in the first place, just hours after she was voted off the show during the semi-final last night.
The 19-year-old singer said she had learned from the situation and is not holding a grudge against Tulisa, or fellow judge Louis Walsh, who made similar allegations.
Asked by Christine Bleakley and Adrian Chiles on Daybreak today if she had forgiven Tulisa, Misha replied: ‘Forgiving is the thing that I have done. I believe that in situations that occur in life, you shouldn’t get bitter you should just get better.
‘Because there’s a saying that to forgive is to set a prisoner free, and I realised that prisoner was me. And instead of getting bitter about a situation – because it’s only making you not feel good inside.
‘And for that situation I’m so grateful because it has been one of the greatest experiences of my life – for me to look at the situation and grow and learn from it. I’m just so grateful.’
When she was asked if she was cross when Gary Barlow had told her on Saturday night’s show that the bullying story would mean she would never win the show, Misha said: ‘I’ve got the utmost respect for Gary – I think he’s amazing. I understand what he was saying.’
Misha added that she feels ‘blessed’ to have gone as far as she did in the competition, saying: ‘From the beginning I set myself to expect the unexpected. It’s just a blessing me having come this far – it’s just incredible.’
Now, Mancunian singer Misha is set to continue her involvement with The X Factor with the tour next year, as well as a possible collaboration with Missy Elliot, who she had been set to duet with on the show’s final if she had made it through.
Misha also revealed that she is keen for Little Mix to take the X Factor crown next weekend, rather than Amelia Lily or Marcus Collins.
