N-Dubz Tulisa “Excited” About Judging The X Factor
JLS reveal she’s still in the mix, despite Cheryl’s US sacking…
Cheryl Cole may have got the boot from The X Factor USA, but boyband JLS have let slip that N-Dubz star Tulisa Contostavlos IS still in the running to be a judge on the UK show.
Since news of Chezza’s sacking from the American series emerged yesterday, reports have suggested that she is considering taking back her original job, meaning that Tulisa will more than likely be sidelined to make way for Cole.
However, MTV News caught up with 2008 X Factor finalists JLS at the premiere of their new movie, Eyes Wide Open yesterday, where member Ortise Williams appeared to confirm Tulisa is still very much in the mix.
When we asked the boys about the UK version of the talent show and whether they think Contostavlos will make a good judge, Williams revealed: “Absolutely! You know what, I saw Tulisa yesterday and she seemed really excited about it.”
Erm, unless we are missing something, surely Chezza, Tulisa and Dannii Minogue‘s rumoured replacement Kelly Rowland can’t all be on the UK X Factor panel? We need some answers Simon Cowell!
The boys also addressed the Girls Aloud singer’s sacking from The X Factor USA telling us: “Cheryl’s one of the strongest women in this industry you know, she’ll bounce back from this. She’ll be even more popular, even better than she was before.”
“Hopefully she’ll return to the show, the UK version, and go on and go on and win another series, she’s incredible and she’ll be absolutely fine.”
They added: “As far as we’re concerned, it’s America’s loss to one of our lovely British sweethearts.”
