NBA: Oklahoma City Thunder rally to beat the Sacramento Kings in Tuesday night round up

Kevin Durant lifted Oklahoma City to an eighth straight victory as the Thunder rallied to beat the Sacramento Kings 97-95.

The Thunder found themselves 31-19 down after the first 12 minutes, but Durant’s 27 points and 11 rebounds helped them to victory.

Marcus Thornton had 24 points to lead from the bench for the Kings, who launched a comeback effort of their own in the final quarter but came up just short.

Eighteen points from Kyle Singler led a balanced Detroit offence as the Pistons beat Miami 107-97 to end the Heat’s winning streak at 10.

Singler was one of seven Detroit players in double figures, with Andre Drummond, who scored 10, also adding 18 rebounds.

Michael Carter-Williams had a triple-double as the Philadelphia 76ers claimed a 126-125 double-overtime win over the Orlando Magic.

Carter-Williams had 27 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists, while Arron Afflalo scored 43 points in a losing cause for the Magic.

Timofey Mozgov’s 17 points and 20 rebounds helped the Denver Nuggets overcome to Brooklyn Nets 111-87, while the Boston Celtics beat the Milwaukee Bucks 108-100.

There were also wins for the Memphis Grizzlies, the Dallas Mavericks and the Golden State Warriors.
