Festival organisers DF Concerts and founding partner Tennent’s Lager have this afternoon announced that the feisty rapper has been added to the 2012 line-up.
Minaj will prove a huge draw and will almost undoubtedly be one of the main talking points of the weekend, thanks to her feisty (and often controversial) attitude and larger-than-life persona.
Her debut album Pink Fridaylast year hit number one in the US, with singles includingSuper Bass and Moment 4 Life.
The final batch of tickets for T in the Park go on general sale at 9am on Wednesday 29th February from www.ticketmaster.co.uk and by calling 08444 999 990.
T in the Park this morning announced its 2012 line-up, with artists announced including Snow Patrol, Kasabian, Emeli Sandé and Calvin Harris as well as the previously announced Florence + The Machine and The Stone Roses.
Also on the bill are Swedish House Mafia, Example, Skrillex, Happy Mondays, Jessie J, New Order and Rizzle Kicks.
Others include David Guetta, Twin Atlantic, Mastodon, Major Lazer, The Darkness, Elbow and Tinie Tempah.
