Nicki Minaj delays the release of The Pinkprint

Nicki Minaj has delayed the release of her latest album, The Pinkprint.

The ‘Anaconda’ star was supposed to  release her third album on November 24, but it has now been pushed back to December 15.

The rapper previously said that she would like to set a precedent for female rappers with her new record, as Jay Z did for male rappers with his album The Blueprint.

“It’s gonna feel so good and it will probably be one that female rappers will look to as a ‘pink print’ for years to come,” she said.

The rapper has been gradually revealing new material over the past few months, with ‘Anaconda’, ‘Pills N Potions’, ‘Yasss Bish’ and ‘Chi-Raq’ all contenders for the new album’s yet-to-be-revealed track list.

Minaj’s third studio album will act as the follow-up to 2012’s Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, which topped the charts in the UK as well as the US.
