Nicki Minaj greeted by fans as she arrives in UK
Nicki Minaj’s return to the UK kicked off in style this afternoon, as hundreds of fans turned out to greet her at Heathrow airport.
The Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded star arrived in London for her album promotion, which includes a signing on Thursday.
Eager to catch a glimpse of the 29-year-old, a large number of fans gathered to see her arrive, alongside waiting paparazzi.
However, apparently overwhelmed by the crowd, Minaj was reportedly taken back by security and made her exit via another area of the airport.
Earlier this week, the ‘Starships’ singer deleted her official Twitter account, after becoming embroiled in an altercation with a fansite that had posted snippets from her latest album.
It was today confirmed that Minaj will release her debut fragrance – in partnership with Give Back Brands – later this year.
“I am so excited about my fragrance debut, and am proud to partner with Give Back Brands for such a personal project,” she said.
“I have always been a huge fan of great fragrances; this is yet another extension of my creative expression and I can’t wait to share it with the world. I designed this scent and bottle with my Barbz in mind; I know they will love it!”
