Rosemary Shrager leaves I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

Rosemary Shrager has become the latest celeb to leaveĀ I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!.

The celebrity chef found herself in the bottom two alongside former darts player, Eric Bristow, and was eliminated after receiving the fewest number of votes from the public.

When asked by Ant and Dec how it felt to be leaving, she replied: “It feels amazing! What an experience, I’ve absolutely loved it. But if anybody told me it was going to be that hard…”

Glad to be part of the show: The 61-year-old TV chef said she thoroughly enjoyed the experience and had conquered most of her fears

Asked if she was disappointed: “You get to this point and you think ‘Oh, it’s the end’, but what is important is you get the chance to do your very best.”

She then went on to discuss her first night in the camp, where she stayed in a rat-infested hut with popstar Limahl, saying: “When I think about it now, I don’t know how I got through that night… if Limahl hadn’t been there, I don’t think I could have made it.”

On her occasionally testy relationship with Hugo Taylor, she added: “The thing about Hugo is he’s quite petulant. He likes it his own way, and I’m the only one in the camp he couldn’t cope with.

“He only saw me as an authority figure. It was actually quite funny.”

Shrager left the show in great spirits, and expressed her wish for David Haye to be crowned King of the Jungle.

I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! continues tonight at 8.30pm on ITV.
