Russell Brand ‘doing well’ after Katy Perry divorce

Russell Brand has revealed that he is “doing well” following his divorce from Katy Perry.

The British comedian told People that he is not dwelling on his failed marriage, which ended when he filed for divorce in December.

“You don’t need to brush it off if you don’t get it on you in the first place,” Brand said.

“I don’t have to let anything go. I don’t hold on to anything negative. It’s the same as zero-ness.”

Brand continued: “It’s not about letting it go. You can’t let go of something you don’t hold, you know. It’s meaningless, [and] much of our world is predicated on meaninglessness. And I don’t do that anymore.”

Brand also dismissed a recent incident in which he was arrested for allegedly throwing a photographer’s phone away, saying: “[It’s] meaningless to me. It’s like it never happened. It’s meaningless.”

Brand’s reported girlfriend Nikolett Barabas recently said that he is “amazing” and “beautiful”.

Meanwhile, Perry denied rumours that she is dating when she tweeted that she is single last week.
