Sam Bailey is crowned X Factor winner
Sam Bailey has been crowned the winner of the X Factor 2013.
Singing her winner’s song, Skyscraper by Demi Lovato, the prison officer shone in her sequined dress, attracting over 1 million votes.
After months of hard work, Sam has been awarded a one million pound recording deal and a place on Beyonce’s Mrs Carter tour next year.
Judge, Gary Barlow, who looked like he had shed a tiny tear said: “You’ve stolen the hearts of the nation.
“You’ve done this on behalf of people whose dreams have stayed dreams.”
“‘You got me looking like a hot mess, the first time I saw you you brought tears to my eyes, and you’ve done it again with your last performance,” added Nicole Scherzinger.
“That voice is a gift from God and you are the voice.
“Timing is everything and this is your time right now.”
Louis said: “You deserve to be on that stage, that’s going to be number one record – stop crying.”
