Sami wants to see Louie kicked off X Factor

Ousted X Factor contestant Sami Brookes wants to see her former mentor Louis Walsh kicked off the show.

The 31-year-old lambasted the veteran judge – the only one remaining from the last series – after he did not back her in a crucial vote on Sunday night’s elimination show.

‘Louis has got loads of experience, but it’s a new X Factor so they should have someone new,’ she said.

The 31-year-old singer, from Rhyl in North Wales, battled to stay in the competition alongside fellow ‘overs’ contestant Kitty Brucknell after the pair received the least amount of public votes.

But her rendition of Aretha Franklin’s Natural Woman was not enough to triumph over Kitty’s version of the Lady Gaga hit, The Edge Of Glory.

Humiliating: Louis Walsh has been forced to apologise for his claim on X Factor's live Saturday show that Misha B was 'bullying' one of his contestants

Fellow judges Gary Barlow and Kelly Rowland voted to send Sami home while Tulisa Contostavlos said she wanted to see Kitty go.

This meant that if Louis had chosen to save Sami, host Dermot O’Leary would’ve had to go to deadlock, where the phone-in figures are the deciding factor as the contestants have two votes each.

‘I do wish Louis had taken it to deadlock, definitely,’ Sami said.

‘Maybe I might have been voted in. I just feel like it was really unfair,’ she said.

She accused Walsh of spending more time with ‘his favourite act’ Kitty and not listening to what she wanted to perform.

‘I just feel like I didn’t really get the songs that I wrote down. Everyone had some input but all my song choices got overlooked, so I wish Louis had helped more with the song choices.

‘I just wish he would have taken my ideas more on board because he is such a funny guy and brilliant. I think he doesn’t see me maybe as a singer.

‘He can’t mould me into the next Beyonce, he can’t mould me into the next Rihanna. I didn’t come on to this show to be a pop star – I’m 31 years old, I’m not a pop star.’

Misha also denied that she was bullied by contestant Misha Bryan on the show.

On Saturday’s live show, Louis accused the young singer of being mean to one of his female contestants backstage. Tulisa also chimed in, advising her to channel her emotions into her performances.

But Louis was forced to apologise on Sunday’s show.

Time to go home: Sami has also blasted Louis' song choices for her, saying her choices were ignored

‘You know, it makes me laugh,’ Brookes said of the rumour.

‘How could someone who’s about four foot something bully me? I’m like 16 stone and about six feet high. I am twice the height of Misha. Can you really see Misha bullying me?’

She added: ‘Me and Misha, we had a little disagreement on Friday, I can’t even remember what it’s about, but we’re really good mates. I think due to the pressure of the show, being tired and everything, we were both crying.

‘I can stand up for myself, but I’m not getting bullied. I think all the girls have disagreements. People aren’t used to each other, it’s a different environment so people are going to argue about fake tan and things like that. It’s like a big family so there are bound to be some arguments.’
