SPOTTED: George and Amal arrive in Cannes
George Clooney and wife, Amal arrived in Cannes yesterday and brought the sunshine with them.
George arrived at the five-star Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France, ahead of the 69th edition of the famous festival where his upcoming film, Money Monster, will be screened.
The glamorous couple were warmly greeted upon their arrival as they stepped out of a luxury black Mercedes.
Coming hot on the heels of his previous cinema release, the Cohen brothers’ Hail, Caesar!, George’s next picture Money Monster is scheduled for a May 27 release.
Directed by Jodi Foster, the thriller sees the heartthrob star alongside Julia Roberts and Jack O’Connell.
George plays the lead role of financial TV host Lee Gates who is considered a Wall Street expert and gives viewers tips on his show Money Monster.
However, when one viewer loses money based on Gates’ advice he storms the studio and takes the host hostage.
