The CW announces fall lineup

 

The CW has announced its fall premiere dates, with spin off show The Originals getting its premier date this October.

For the second year running, the network will roll out its fall lineup in October, rather than the traditional mid-September launch.

Rachel Bilson’s Hart of Dixie kicks off a month of premieres with its third season launch on Monday, October 7 at 8pm, with a new season of Beauty and the Beast following at 9pm.

On Wednesday, October 9, Arrow returns for a second season at 8pm and comes before the launch of new science fiction drama The Tomorrow People at 9pm.

The Vampire Diaries returns to screens on Thursday, October 10 at 8pm before another of the network’s new series, Reign, which follows at 9pm.

The Originals – a New Orleans based spin-off of The Vampire Diaries – kicks off on Tuesday, October 15. Supernatural moves to a new time slot, following at 9pm.

Sex and the City prequel series The Carrie Diaries is the last to debut, with its second season beginning on Friday, October 25 at 8pm.

America’s Next Top Model: Guys and Girls follows the AnnaSophia Robb drama but will premiere earlier on August 2.
