TOWIE’s Charlie dumps Gemma over Ricky Rayment sexting

Their relationship has been a bit of a struggle from the start, but it would seem Gemma’s sexts to co-star Ricky Rayment is the final straw for Charlie King, but that wasn’t the only reason he decided to end their brief relationship.

After the curvy blonde came clean over her saucy messaging with Ricky, insisting it was just harmless banter, Charlie admitted he ‘ain’t happy’.

But it appears it’s not just the texting that has been bothering him, as Charlie tells Gemma he was sick of complaining to all their friends about their lack of sex life and her concerns about his sexuality.

He also admitted he was paranoid about his choice of clothes and shoes and his dancing because Gemma obviously had other ideas about how she expected her man to dress.

Explaining her messages to Ricky, Gemma said: ‘Me and Ricky have only been mates. Only ever clear banter.

‘We’ve been texting, a little bit flirty, but nothing meant by it… My interpretation of “lets go wild”, was go partying in Brentwood.’

Although Charlie accepted Gemma didn’t mean anything by it, he said: ‘You’ve got to admit you’re fuelling it. I ain’t happy about it.

With regards to you and me, I dunno how its going. I don’t think its going in the right direction.’

An upset Gemma quickly got defensive and claimed she had done so much for him and accused Charlie of not putting in any effort.

She fumed: ‘Everything you want, I have done… so for you to say that, f**k off.’

Charlie replied: ‘You’ve done nothing. You’re putting it out there to everyone that you’re embarrassed of my dancing…

I don't think its going in the right direction: Charlie tells Gemma the 'sexting' with Ricky is the least of their problems

‘I’m scared of what I wear, I’m scared of my shoes… I wasn’t Essex enough for you, you want some gangster… that ain’t me.

‘I haven’t had sex with you because I wanted to treat you like a lady… I don’t think there’s sexual chemistry in this relationship… I think we should be friends.’

However, it appeared Gemma wasn’t happy with the friendship offer.

She hit back: ‘We won’t be friends. You’ve tried to make a mug of me. We’re not gonna be friends.’

Despite her heartbreak, Gemma went to James ‘Arg’ Argent, Cara Kilbey and Billi Mucklow’s post-London Marathon party.

She took the opportunity to speak to Jessica Wright, who is currently in the early stages of dating Ricky, to set the record straight.

Gemma told her: ‘Charlie’s actually dumped me over the text messages. I feel embarrassed.

‘I am 31, I do wanna settle down, it was just a friendly banter… to be honest I was flattered… I’m scared of being on my own again.’

Obviously not holding it against Jessica, she said: ‘I know you have got my back… but me and him have become a bit closer than we were.’
