TOWIE’s Lauren Goodger responds to axe rumours
The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren Goodger has responded to rumours that she is to be axed from the show.
it was reported yesterday that Goodger could be facing the axe following a row with producers about her lack of screentime.
Goodger gave a video interview to Exclusive TV in which she discussed the speculation, saying: “There’ve been some issues which are currently being looked into while TOWIE’s on a break, and that’s all I can say at the moment, unfortunately.”
She also said that she is still enjoying the show, adding: “TOWIE’s been good this series. I think it’s been more about being ‘independent, single Lauren’, having a bit of banter with the girls. There’s a bigger group of us now, which is nice to see.”
The Only Way Is Essex airs on Wednesdays and Sundays at 10pm on ITV2.
