Donald Trump has condemned Sacha Baron Cohen for pouring ‘ashes’ on Ryan Seacrest on the Academy Awards red carpet.

Cohen dressed as his Dictator character General Aladeen for the Oscars on Sunday (February 26) and carried a golden urn filled with ‘the ashes of Kim       Jong-il’.

The comedian then dumped the ashes all over Seacrest while being interviewed on E!‘s live pre-show telecast.

Seacrest – who has insisted he had no idea about the prank beforehand – has been defended byCelebrity Apprentice host Trump, who slammed Cohen in a new web video.

“This third-rate character named Sacha Baron Cohen thought he was being cute and funny when he threw ashes at Ryan Seacrest. I know Ryan Seacrest – he’s a great guy… it was disgraceful,” Trump declared.

Trump went to criticise the security guard on the scene for not taking the urn away from Cohen and also insisted that the comic deserves serious repercussions for his actions.

The Celebrity Apprentice star further commented: “Believe me, if that ever happened to somebody with real security, Sacha Baron Cohen would not be in good shape right now. He’d be in a hospital!
“[Cohen] would have been punched in the face so many times he wouldn’t have known what happened. I only wish that Ryan took a swing at him and I only wish that the security guard that allowed it all to happen… gets fired!”

Trump was actually the victim of one of Cohen’s previous pranks in 2003 when he was interviewed by the actor’s alter ego Ali G.
