Westbrook leads Oklahoma to NBA victory over Toronto

Russell Westbrook lead Oklahoma City Thunder to a 108-104 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Sunday night.

Westbrook posted his fifth triple-double in six games to help the Thunder edge past the Raptors in a nail biting game.

The NBA’s leading scorer netted 30 points, and matched a career high with 17 assists while adding 11 rebounds. It was his seventh triple-double of the season and 15th overall.

Elsewhere, Enes Kanter collected 21 points and 12 rebounds, with Serge Ibaka potted 21 points and five blocks for the Thunder who remain alone in eighth place in the overall Western Conference standings.

As for the Raptors, DeMar DeRozan scored 24 points for a Toronto team that have now lost three straight games.

Elsewhere, Golden State Warriors defeated Los Angeles Clippers 106-98 for a sixth straight home victory with Draymond Green top scoring on 23 points.

In other games, Monta Ellis scored 18 of his 31 points during the third quarter as Dallas beat Los Angeles Lakers 100-93 on the west coast.

Al Jefferson scored 24 points to lead Charlotte past Detroit 108-101, with Mo Williams collecting 19 points and nine assists for the Hornets.

Charlotte have won five straight games to strengthen their bid for a post-season berth, while Detroit have dropped six in a row.
