X Factor: Overload Generation to release single

Overload Generation have announced they will be releasing their debut single next year.

The boyband, who were voted off X Factor at the weekend, revealed they’ll be releasing ‘No No No’ in April 2015.

“We were gutted [to leave] but we’ve had a night to sleep on it and I think the thing for us is that we didn’t get to perform more of our original stuff like we did [at] Wembley,” said Ollie Garland.

“But that’s all going to change in the upcoming year – we’ve got our single ‘No No No’ out in April so we’re looking forward to that.”

Overload Generation originally sang ‘No No No’ during their arena audition, and secured yeses from all four of the judges.

Joey Devries also defended the band against the judges’ negative comments over the weekend, saying that their performances weren’t as bad as they were made out to be.

“Well Saturday night we did give it our all. I don’t think it was as bad as [the judges] made it out to be – when we got back and watched it back, it weren’t that bad!” he said.

The X Factor continues on October 18 at 8pm on ITV, with an ’80s theme week.
