Commonwealth Games Day 5 Round Up

The fifth day of action at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games saw the track and field competition get under way at Hampden Park.

England’s Adam Gemili won silver in the men’s 100m final as Daniel Greaves and Aled Davies of Wales made it a British 1-2 in the Para-Sport Men’s Discus F42/44 final. Scotland’s Libby Clegg bagged gold in the women’s 100m T12 final.

They were plenty more medals in the pool for the Home Nations, with Wales’ Jazz Carlin winning the women’s 800m Freestyle in emphatic fashion.
