Rihanna tweets support for England during Uruguay defeat

Rihanna took to Twitter during the World Cup match between England and Uruguay last night to give fans her take on the match.

Surprisingly it was England that the Bajan singer was cheering on as she first tweeted “ENGLAND whatchu gon do??!,” she wrote, shortly after the team conceded their first goal of the game, before celebrating Wayne Rooney’s equaliser with, “Roooonnnnnneeeeeyyyyy.”

She then went on to vent her frustration at the team’s lack of defence.

“Man they know better than to give Suarez that much room bruh! (sic),” Rihanna tweeted after the Liverpool FC player’s second goal.

She also commented on the South American team’s back four, impressed with their ability to stop England equalising: “Uruguay defense is almost disrespectful!!! 2 good.”

Ri Ri also praised the work of goalkeeper Fernando Muslera, who, as she puts it, “be on his s**t tho!”
