The Saturdays made their US red carpet debut last night as they joined dozens of stars at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The girls have spent the past few weeks in Los Angeles trying to break America, with talk of a reality show on the cards for the five piece UK band.

Making sure to stand out from the carpet, the girls opted for an all white ensemble – bar Una Healy in a lemon dress – as they arrived at the Staples Center.

Both Rochelle Humes and Vanessa White went for going for mullet-style dresses, while Frankie Sandford opted for a textured white shift dress.

Mollie King, 25, wore a sheer two layered skirt, while Una, 30, went for a slightly different colour in a lemon asymmetrical ruched mini dress.

All glammed up and ready to go, Una posted an Instagram photo of her and Frankie before leaving their hotel.

After arriving, an excited Mollie tweeted: “Just walked in – Oh my goodness CANNOT believe we’re here!”

In the limousine on the way to the show, Rochelle, 23, tweeted a photo of herself, writing: “Red carpet here we goo #unitedsatsof America #satsvmas.”
