The X Factor’s Luke Friend announces tour dates

Luke Friend has announced his first ever headline tour to co-inside with the release of his debut single.

Luke, who finished third on The X Factor in 2014, will tour his ‘Hole In My Heart Tour’ tour this spring, which will follow the release of his highly anticipated single of the same name on March 29th.

Despite appearing on a nationwide show like X Factor, Luke hasn’t been caught up in all the hype, preferring to reminisce of his busking days on the streets of Devon.

“I was busking from when I was 15,” says Luke.

“The first time I went was a Saturday in the winter and it was bloody freezing.

“There were always people playing in Exeter, so one day I grabbed my coat and went. It really was just great fun and I had people complimenting me and it immediately gave me confidence.

“It became more serious and I started getting my own gigs and playing acoustic shows. But I still had to busk to try and fund where I was going to go for the gigs. I needed petrol money. From then on I didn’t stop!”

Luke’s debut single will be released on 29th March and you can see him live Totnes, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Bristol and London.
