Kaiser Chiefs announce 2015 tour dates

Kaiser Chiefs have confirmed that they will be playing two dates in February 2015.

The band will headline London’s O2 Arena on February 13 before returning to their hometown to play at Leeds Arena on February 14.

Frontman Ricky Wilson said: “The last few months have been great, we’re enjoying playing the new album and getting our songs ready for our festival slots and then to top it off – we get to start next year at the O2!”

The band, who are currently on tour in Europe following Wilson’s stint as a judge on BBC’s The Voice, have played the O2 Arena once before in 2007 when they performed as part of the opening.

Speaking about returning to Leeds, bassist Simon Rix said: “It’s a great time for the Leeds music scene, there’s a lot going on right now.

“We’re so happy to be able to play the new Arena again, nothing can match the support we get from the Yorkshire crowds.”

Kaiser Chiefs will be playing a string of live dates this summer including V Festival, T in the Park and Glastonbury as well as a North American tour and a series of dates in Europe.
