Rough Copy premiere debut single

Rough Copy have premiered their new single, Street Love.

The X Factor boyband – who finished fourth on the 2013 series – have signed a record deal with Sony Music and Epic Records.

The group will release ‘Street Love’ on June 29 as their debut single, which is a re-working of the ’80s classic ‘Sweet Love’ by Anita Baker.

The new cut – produced by Beatfreakz (Usher, Jason Derulo) – will feature Rough Copy’s own verses with the familiar chorus.

“Being signed to Epic makes everything worthwhile; all the hard work, all the grafting and difficult times makes this a magical and memorable moment that will live with us for years to come,” Rough Copy said in a statement.

“We can finally take off the X Factor training wheels and enter the big industry.”

They added: “Along with being signed to a huge major label, we are also excited and happy to announce that we will be releasing our first official single ‘Street Love’.

“We can’t wait to hit stages everywhere and deliver performances to be remembered! How epic is that?!”

Rough Copy are currently working on their debut album, which is expected to be released later this year.
