Made in Chelsea stars are heading to New York

The cast of Made in Chelsea are headed to New York this summer to film a special edition of their hit reality series.

Spencer Matthews and Jamie Laing will join 16 other Made in Chelsea cast members for the Big Apple series of the show, which will air six episodes this summer.

Matthews will have to contend with ex-girlfriends Lucy Watson and Louise Thompson, while Laing will have his best friend Oliver Proudlock along for the ride.

There could be awkwardness on 5th Avenue as on-off couple Binky Felstead and Alex Mytton – who had a slap-filled encounter in Monday’s show – will both be making the transatlantic fight… along with Binky’s mum Jane Felstead.

Thompson will be joined by her brother Sam Thompson, although he will have to cope with sharing the city with Stevie Johnson and Riley Uggla.

Rosie Fortescue, Fran Newman-Young and Cheska Hull will also be swapping the Bluebird for the Empire State Building, while Mark-Francis Vandelli and Victoria Baker-Harber will bring their distinctive sense of style and class to the States.

Rounding out the cast are newcomers Georgia Toffolo – also known as Toff, who made her debut in Monday’s episode – and Uggla’s friend Aurelie Mason Perez.

“We’re excited to have so many of the cast joining us in New York,” executive producer Sarah Dillistone said. “Leaving the familiar surroundings of SW3 behind them, we’re expecting more drama, more romance and more new friends. New York won’t know what’s hit it!”

One notable cast member who won’t be flying out to New York is Andy Jordan, who is expected to miss the series because he is touring his music. American Stephanie Pratt is also not mentioned in the list.

Made in Chelsea: New York will launch on E4 in August, while the main show continues on Mondays at 10pm on E4.
